1.1 Working with the Head of Practice and Professional Development to deliver the Trust and Integrated Care System strategic objectives as a member of the wider Human Resources and Organisational Development team.
1.2 Leading the development, implementation and monitoring of the Trust’s learning and development strategic and operational plans in partnership with the Education Leadership Team.
1.3 Being responsible for the operational management of the education and training function, including managing groups of training teams and providing expert advice and leadership on all education and training matters at a senior management level.
1.4 Working with external partners across the Integrated care System and Higher Education Institutions to develop innovative educational solutions to make best use of system resources.
- Facilitating education and training to provide staff members with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver quality, safe patient care.
- Supporting students and learners with practice placement experiences as part of our commitment to grow our own future workforce.
- Empowering colleagues at all levels to realise their potential and access development opportunities in support of recruitment, retention and workforce transformation.
- Promoting inter-professional learning to strengthen team working and communication in practice.
