People & Talent Advisor (10-month maternity cover FTC)

We are working with an exciting legal tech organisation to hire a superb People & Talent Advisor for a 10-month maternity cover contract.This role is going to be instrumental to furthering the P&T agenda through a time of change in 2025.
The People & Talent Advisor will support the P&T team in launching new initiatives and projects, including the implementation of Workday. The People & Talent Advisor will use data to report on key employee metrics, providing insights to continuously improve the employee experience.
The role of People & Talent Advisor:
- You will provide timely advice on employment law, HR policies and best practices, and support managers with employee relations issues.
- Provide People Partnering support to Events team (70 heads) and work with Sr People Partner to support wider commercial team.
- You will own the performance management process and conduct first impressions and exit interviews.
- You will support project launches (including Workday), use data for employee metrics and experience improvement.
- You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver the wider People & Talent agenda.
Essential Skills
- Have proven experience in a People Advisory role within a PE backed scaling business.
- Be a self-starter with strong stakeholder skills. Confidence to present to your stakeholder group.
- Proven experience developing and delivering on elements of employee lifecycle - from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Excellent time-management and organisation.
- Workday or similar HRIS experience.
