Job Purpose: The Head of Employee Experience is responsible for leading and enhancing the overall employee experience within the organisation. This role focuses on driving engagement, fostering a positive culture, and promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) across all levels of the company. It will also include employee wellbeing and linking in on the CSR agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee needs and concerns.
- Create and manage programs that recognise and reward employee contributions.
- Update the mechanisms by which we engage the workforce i.e. Employee Voice Champions phase 2
- Culture Development:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and promote the desired organisational culture.
- Implement initiatives that encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Lead the development and execution of DEI strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure that DEI principles are integrated into all HR processes, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Monitor and report on DEI metrics and progress, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with Network Groups
- Employee Wellbeing:
- Develop and implement programs that support employee wellbeing, including mental health, work-life balance, financial health and physical health initiatives.
- Provide resources and support for employees to manage stress and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure open and effective communication.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee concerns and improve the overall employee experience.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events to promote engagement and development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on employee engagement, culture development, and DEI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
