This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chief of Staff looking to make an impact in a large-scale organisation. Playing a pivotal part in the business operation and strategy, whilst reporting directly into the CEO in this public sector organisation.
They are currently undergoing a large-scale, cultural transformation project internally, so the successful candidate will work with the CEO and board to devise and implement new process, strategy and procedure, alongside ensuring that the CEO is well served in terms of support and planning ahead.
The Chief of Staff role, working with the board is integral to bed in the new team structure and ensure that the organisation is efficiently run and operating to its highest potential. The successful individual must have a thorough understanding of governance and regulatory working environments, and must have previously worked in a similar role within the public sector.
Key duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights and support on business operations, strategic priorities, and internal challenges.
- Oversight of the CEO’s engagements and communications.
- Managing the private office, governance and internal teams.
- Implement strategy throughout the organisation, focusing on team development and operational excellence.
- Oversight of the governance function.
- Stakeholder relationship management.
- Resource management, helping to recruit and implement the private office team.
- Risk management.
