A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust to appoint a skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Registered Professional to join the Safeguarding Team.
The Safeguarding Practitioner will be an experienced practitioner with in-depth knowledge of adults at risk and child protection and advanced analytical skills for safeguarding acquired through specialist courses and experiential learning from interagency work.
As part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's Safeguarding Team, the successful post holder will be provided with a thorough induction package and professional development opportunities in the area of Safeguarding.
The adult and childrens safeguarding teams are based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital but have responsibility for working with acute and community services, and the MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) which will therefore require travel Trustwide.
The post holder will work within a bigger team in order to provide:
expert advice and support for colleagues in relation to safeguarding adults and child protection concerns
safeguarding adults and child protection training for all colleagues
safeguarding adults and child protection supervision for colleagues
effective communication channels with the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults and Children's boards
robust internal policies and guidelines for safeguarding children and adults
representing BHT in the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub).
