We want the right person to join our team. Is that you? As the Co Opportunities facilitator, you will assist the staff team and the people we support with varying needs. From supporting them to achieve the goals, learn new skills and maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle.
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist the Regional Coordinators with the running of and transformation of the Sutton Supported Living Service and its team of staff. This service consists of 7 individual flats, and a large garden. The people we support are a mixture of males and females who have a primary diagnosis of a learning and physical disability, Autism and/or mental health which may include some challenging behaviours. Some of the people require personal care therefore you must be comfortable doing this.
There will be some administration work with rota management, auditing and ensuring the documentation is to the required standard. This is an exciting role and would benefit someone who can think outside of the box and be creative. This person is required to have basic skills using Microsoft 365/ Teams and other programmes.
We will provide full support and training face to face and online with an experienced member of the team. You will receive a personal induction created especially for you.

You must have a good understanding of Mental Capacity Act, Positive behaviour support and experience of working with complex and vulnerable people.
It is imperative that you can organise and prioritise your work, can work to deadlines, work with the wider team, be approachable, confident, and reliable.
You will need a working knowledge of the various legislation which incudes, but not limited to: Health and Safety, MCA, Health & Social Care Act, CQC standards and The Care Act.
You will possess or be willing to work towards Diploma Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and be in possession of or willing to complete the Diploma 5 Qualification.
