Make UK is the voice of British manufacturing.
We champion a sector that employs millions, drives innovation and underpins the UK's economic success. We represent more than 20,000 manufacturing and engineering businesses, from cutting-edge start-ups to some of the world's largest industrial companies. Directly supporting over 5,000 members, we provide expert advice, training, business services and policy leadership that help manufacturers grow, compete and thrive.
As manufacturing takes centre stage in conversations about economic growth, skills, innovation, energy and trade, this is a rare opportunity to shape the narrative around one of the UK's most important sectors.

- Work closely with policy and public affairs colleagues to translate complex issues into compelling and accessible stories.
- Ensure media activity supports wider campaigns and contributes to tangible outcomes for the manufacturing sector.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, industry partners, member companies and other key external stakeholders.
- Support communications around consultations, reports, research and major industry announcements.
- Help position Make UK as a leading authority on manufacturing and industrial policy.
