Role Overview
As the Head of Experiences, you will be responsible for building and leading our experience acquisition team and for the curation, acquisition, and development of Trove's portfolio of unique experiences. The heart of our business.
You will play a crucial role in shaping our experiences to ensure they are engaging, impactful, and relevant to our corporate clients, whilst also building and nurturing relationships with our Trove Hosts.
You will have a keen interest in all aspects of the world around us and be passionate about encouraging people to challenge themselves by trying new experiences in life. You will have a creative mind and enjoy original thinking.

It is a full-time (40hr week) role with remote working (although this is likely to move to a hybrid arrangement in London once we have further funding in place).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute Trove's overall experience portfolio strategy
- Refine experience categories and taxonomy based on user feedback, collaboration with the Head of Proposition and Customer Success and market trends
Experience Acquisition and Development
- Source and develop innovative experiences across the four Trove categories (Growth, Motivation, Unwind & Connect)
- Work closely with hosts to structure experiences for corporate consumption and for maximum virtual engagement
- Collaborate with hosts to create clear corporate outcomes whilst maintaining the uniqueness of their stories and expertise
- Balance fascinating content with clear narrative threads aligned to corporate learning objectives
Host Acquisition and Relationship Building
- Identify and persuade potential hosts to join Trove's platform
- Build rapport quickly and effectively with a diverse range of potential hosts
- Articulate the long-term value proposition of partnering with Trove to get hosts excited (and to ultimately invest their time)
- Nurture relationships with hosts throughout the experience development process (and beyond as they become part of the Trove host community)
Experience Design and Quality Control
- Ensure all experiences align with the ‘Trove formula’ (specifically for corporate virtual delivery), quality standards and learning objectives
- Oversee the QA process for new experiences as they undergo trials and refine their experiences based on trial feedback
Host Management
- Develop and implement host onboarding and training programs
- Continuously collaborate with hosts to refine their experiences based on feedback
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Head of Proposition & Customer Success to ensure experiences meet client needs
- Collaborate with the platform development team to enhance the user experience
Team Leadership (Future)
- Build and lead the experience acquisition team as the company grows
- Contribute to overall business strategy as part of the senior leadership team
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in content curation, event programming, or related field
- Strong understanding of corporate learning and development needs
- Excellent creative problem-solving skills and ability to generate unique experience ideas
- Experience in structuring engaging online events or workshops
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport quickly and persuade others
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or talent acquisition is a plus
- Ability to articulate and sell long-term value propositions to potential partners or collaborators
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse hosts and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Comfortable with ambiguity and setting own direction in a startup environment
- Data-driven approach to decision making and performance improvement
- Experience with project management tools
