We’re looking for an experienced DE&I professional to join the HR Team of a collaborative and dynamic Media brand on a 12 month FTC (Maternity leave).
You will be responsible for driving forward the next stage of of the companies DE&I strategy by leading end to end on all DE&I projects. This role will be key in delivering impactful initiatives and programs that promote inclusion and accessibility across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Leading on end to end DE&I projects across the business, overseeing key DEI initiatives, focusing on best practices for social mobility and embedding disability inclusion, following external benchmarks and recommendations.
- Act as a strategic Subject Matter Expert on DEI, acting as an Advisor to the People Team and business, offering guidance and innovative solutions to continuously enhance the DEI agenda
- Responsibility of Data-Driven Insights, including monitoring and analyzing DEI metrics to evaluate progress, identify gaps, and drive improvement.
- Collaborate with the People team to enhance data collection and reporting processes.
- Identify and implement enhancements in DEI processes across the employee journey, from recruitment to career development.
- Partner with the L&D team to design and roll out DEI-focused training and initiatives that build awareness and skills.
- Work closely with internal communications to ensure engaging updates on DEI activities. Coordinate a year-round calendar of DEI events.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including editorial leads and employee forums, to foster a unified approach to DEI across the business.
- Manage relationships with external DEI organizations and partners, ensuring active participation in benchmarking, campaigns, and strategic collaborations.

Experience and skills required:
- Experience working on end to end Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Projects, from scoping out the business needs, designing the project and rolling out within the business.
- Experience working within a specialist DEI role in the past and most recently
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and interdepartmentally acting as a Subject Matter Expert in DE&I
- Working in a fast paced environment
