Your leadership, influence and expertise will be instrumental in fostering a cohesive and collaborative organisation that thrives on shared values and goals.
You'll be responsible for proactively designing, implementing and delivering our internal communications strategy. You'll have autonomy in the role, but still have the opportunity to put pen to paper and write content. You will report directly to our Director of Corporate Affairs, and collaborate closely with our senior leadership, People, Marketing teams, as well as our CEO.
- Proactively design, implement and deliver our internal communications strategy
- Have overall responsibility for all internal communications across the organisation, leading on and supporting internal initiatives
- Lead as the key point person for internal communications efforts for company wide projects/initiatives, as well as leading on any crisis management communications
- Ensure effective and collaborative relationships are built and maintained with key senior stakeholders across the bank
- Creating engaging, dynamic and inclusive content to share with colleagues, ensuring consistency with company strategy and values
- Measure the success of internal communications, identifying areas for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience in leading an internal communications team in a fast-growing organisation, including designing and implementing an internal communications strategy
- A proven track record in delivering effective communications that produce tangible results or change
- A motivation for working collaboratively with a variety of teams to achieve success for the firm overall, with excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Initiative in drafting communications, starting new projects and seeking innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Demonstrable project management skills to help others deliver their communications plans
- Discretion and trustworthy in dealing in confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with excellent copywriting, copy editing and proofreading skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload, with flexibility in times of ambiguity and conflicting deadlines
