Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an intern in the Global Equity, Diversity & Inclusion team starting in July 2025. The Global Equity, Diversity & Inclusion team are at the forefront of design, developing and delivering industry leading initiatives impacting the experience of employees in over 60 countries. We are responsible for supporting the creation of a diverse and inclusive workplace which helps us create innovative solutions, reflect our customers and communities and continue to be one of the most innovative organizations in the world.
Position Responsibilities
- Assists and supports the Global Equity Diversity & Inclusion leads in the delivery of the strategy and approach across Boeing International.
- Assists in gathering defined customer feedback to contribute to the measurement of effective delivery of services.
- With direction assists in appropriate subject matter training in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity and related areas as determined by management for Boeing employees and Managers, through classroom, web-based and individual instruction to ensure awareness and compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Assists in developing, managing and monitoring process and decision support metrics. Monitors, tests, and updates tracking and communication tools per direction. Under direct supervision and guidance, provides prescribed information to management on key diversity and inclusion requirements, goals, etc.
- Assists in disseminating goals for groups and notifies management of progress towards goals.
- Assists in the Coordination with Staffing Diversity Recruitment efforts. Assists in coordinating community and company diversity activities.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of the site's Diversity plan and tactics. Assists in conducting Cultural Diversity events. Assists in the resolution of diversity issues.
Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
- Studying a degree course or have graduated a degree course within last 2 years
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Studying degree course in a social science
- Confidence or willingness to present and host meetings
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with stakeholders of all levels.
- To have forward thinking mind-set and self-motivated
- Effective communication skills
