The work is cutting edge DEI advice; it is technically demanding and creative, and offers opportunities to work on major strategy, culture and implementation projects. We partner with our clients to design, implement and sustain DEI strategies that align with their unique goals and challenges. The client work is stimulating and rarely routine. It offers opportunities to help solve the DEI and workforce issues of companies and be a leading adviser to them on the latest DEI developments globally. Our clients include organisations of all sizes and industries, including many household names and some of the largest multinational companies operating in the UK.
We are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager who will relish the technical challenges in this area and enjoy the opportunities to build relationships with a wide range of clients and PwC stakeholders, develop our client offering and business proposition, and develop teams to support them. Candidates will need a strong track record of delivering and managing complex projects as part of a team.
You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues, firm leaders and clients and working as part of a team to develop, grow and deliver the Firm’s DEI consulting services. You will have a key role in building our DEI business and shaping your client projects. We are open to candidates at Manager or Senior Manager level. Candidates can be based regionally however there will be a requirement to spend one day per week in London.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Develop a strong network within the firm, and adapt approaches to engage PwC teams across lines of service to sell and embed DEI into existing client accounts
- Proactively engaging new clients and markets through thought leadership and novel communications
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their DEI needs and goals.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and develop practical solutions for our clients, considering resource constraints and operational challenges
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops, effectively communicating complex DEI challenges and solutions in a sensitive and accessible way.
- Provide expert guidance on DEI best practices.
- Oversee multiple consulting projects simultaneously; develop project plans, set timelines, and manage resources.
- Create and refine high-quality client deliverables based on data-driven insights.
- Stay updated on DEI trends and develop thought leadership content.
The Skills & Experience We're Looking For
- Significant professional experience in DEI, either as a consultant or in-house.
- Proven track record in developing and embedding DEI solutions and interventions.
- Educational background in social sciences (e.g. psychology, behavioural science) or equivalent self-taught knowledge.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative DEI data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including leading workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Strong written communication skills for developing reports, papers, and presentations.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, work effectively with individuals, and deliver through others.
- Ability to work effectively through ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to building a business pipeline and convert sales
