Main Function of the role:
Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts for Federated Hermes’ UK and European businesses – this includes IT/software/SAAS contracts and data licences;
Reviewing and negotiating engagement letters with third party service providers;
Acting as GDPR Champion for the Legal team (with a good working knowledge of GDPR principles);
Project work including DORA;
Acting as escalation point for external lawyers on NDAs and sponsorship and event contract reviews;
Legal research on an ad hoc basis;
Ability to deal with multiple competing stakeholders with a variety of deadlines;
Professional, client focused approach and good team player.
All work will be done under the supervision of a qualified lawyer in the London-based Legal team.
Experience Required:
• Experience in legal environment
• Interest in financial services industry
