Leon Cycle is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist to join our team! They will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for all positions within EU/UK and be the first point of contact and welcome for all new hires on board. They will not only recruit through job sites but also utilize other strategies to source talented candidates through other channels and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with HRD to plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy for EU/UK
- Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions.
- Work with company leaders to strategize and anticipate future employment needs.
- Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc)
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs.
- Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
- Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
- Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees.
- Prepare prestart employee welcome and assist new hire with their needs and concerns during their initial start.
- Work with HR Coordinator on the necessary equipment needs and other logins needed for new hire.
- Create onboarding plans for new hires with their respective hiring manager; coordinate and create schedules for 1:1 meetings and other pertinent training sessions.
- Greet new hires on their first day and present orientation to new hires.
- Complete check ins with new hires weekly, monthly and at their probationary period end
- Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives
- Communicate regularly with HR department to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals
- Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
- Research compensation benchmark with relevant companies and industries to ensure our company remains competitive
- Work together with the entire HR Department on other HR programs and initiatives
- Assist with other ad hoc projects including other international recruitment needs
Experience and Skills
- Previous working experience preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter for 1-2 years
- Professional Human Resources certification strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods
- Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- A positive, “can do” attitude
