2x Assistant, Cultural Property (MCP22 and MCP33)

Contract 1: (MCP22) Permanent, working 35 hours per week. (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Contract 2: (MCP33) Permanent, working 21 hours per week. (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Salary: £28,662 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

Location: Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Cambridge, Brighton, or Bristol (The roles will be based in any of the locations listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

As the national development agency for museums in England, Arts Council England supports every kind of museum, with every type of collection. Role Overview:

Join our Museums and Cultural Property team to help with projects, improve processes, manage casework, and create reports. Your work will help us meet our goals and comply with our agreement with Arts Council England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Key Responsibilities:

You will help manage various projects and find ways to make our work more efficient. You’ll handle casework carefully and prepare reports to support our activities and decisions.

Team Collaboration:

You’ll provide flexible support across various teams, helping out wherever needed. You’ll bring a positive, problem-solving attitude and work well both with others and on your own.

Adaptability:

You’ll thrive in a changing environment, easily adapting to new priorities and challenges.
