Salary (Grade 6): £15,184.21 to £17,122.56 per annum pro rata (FTE salary £35,588 - £40,131) dependent on experience

‘The Big Repair’ is a critical, transformative project for HMS Victory. This project will ensure the nation’s flagship’s future, full public understanding of her significance, increased audiences and a sustainable place at the heart of our heritage. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Partner to join ‘The Big Repair’ project on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a key partnering role, supporting a multi-disciplinary workforce. The role covers employment relations, health and wellbeing (including health surveillance), recruitment and retention, learning and development, equity, diversity and inclusion, and supporting culture change.

You will play an important role in coaching and developing managers to motivate high-performing teams. Navigating complex or sensitive matters with confidence and consistency and supporting effective recruitment approaches that attract and retain diverse talent.

This role involves partnering with the HMS Victory project team, comprising technical specialists, professional staff and skilled tradespeople working on HMS Victory and within a workshop environment. Therefore, you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic health and safety practices and health surveillance obligations and a willingness to learn more.
