The Post
NSS Human Resources is looking for an OD Consultant to support the development and implementation of effective and efficient organisational development strategies and plans which support the NSS Workforce Strategy.
This includes supporting the effective management of change across NSS by using diagnostic, consultancy and networking skills to assist the organisation to adapt and thrive in response to changes in the external environment
The OD Consultant role provides professional and specialist organisational development expertise, advice, guidance, and support across NSS and Public Health Scotland, as part of the delivery of an HR shared service. You will engage with a range of stakeholders within both organisations and the wider NHS community.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you should be educated to degree level or have the equivalent experience. You will be a chartered member of CIPD or equivalent and have an up to date knowledge of developing and implementing organisational development strategies with evidence of continuous professional development
You will possess highly effective communication and influencing skills and be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
You should have the ability to prioritise your workload effectively whilst managing complex demands. You will also have strong decision making and problem-solving abilities.
Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House Glasgow
Currently hybrid working
The work pattern is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
