The Bay Locality Children and Young People Mental Health (CYPMH) Services are pleased to advertise this newly developed post, designed to support Access and Waiting times and to improve timely flow across our South Cumbria and Lancaster & Morecambe CYPMH Services.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and innovative individual with strong experience in data and performance management. A key focus of this role will be ensuring that performance targets are regularly reviewed, with robust oversight and monitoring of waiting lists and access times for appointments across the Bay CYPMH Services. The post holder will also be expected to monitor clinical quality of assessments for Children and Young People entering the service so will require a strong clinical background.
The post is part time (30 hours per week). The post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
Main duties of the job
The Integrated Team Leader will work collaboratively with the Service Manager and fellow Integrated Team Leaders within the Bay, providing clinical leadership and first-line management for their respective team across the Bay CYPMH Services Locality.
To have continuing responsibility for the delivery of high quality service provision by the CYPMH team to ensure delivery of an integrated, responsive and person centred service. To develop and maintain robust partnership working arrangements between the CYPMH teams and community partners and other key stakeholders. To ensure that staff in the CYPMH team have opportunities for continuing professional development, in order to provide evidence based practice, and to drive improvements in standards of practice in line with the NHS modernisation and Public Health agendas.
To lead the implementation of the safeguarding agenda within the CYPMH Team in partnership with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Care safeguarding team. To actively lead in the delivery of the clinical governance, modernisation, quality improvement and performance management agenda within the Team. To manage a reduced clinical caseload and provide direct clinical interventions/ assessments that are high quality, timely and accessible.
