About Your Team
The Chief People Office department supports the business to ensure the effective management and development of the talent in our organisation, and the effective communication strategy for all our business and regions. It involves having oversight of all aspects of human capital management and corporate affairs which includes a number of areas of expertise working together collaboratively - Resourcing, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and organisation development, HR Business Partnering and Corporate Communications.
Talent and Resourcing sits as part of the CPO function. The global team is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment journey, including Early Careers, lateral and executive talent, as well as Talent, Skills and the Employee Experience.
About Your Role
You will play a key role in strengthening Fidelity’s culture and employee experience by managing and delivering our global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Fidelity Cares (CSR) programmes. This includes coordinating the delivery, helping shape programme enhancements, and evaluating the impact of enterprise-wide initiatives. You will also help business areas embed inclusive, accessible and responsible practices into their day-to-day operations.
You will work closely with colleagues across CPO, the wider business, employee volunteer groups (including DEI Networks, CSR Committees, Wellbeing Champions and Mental Health First Aiders) and external partners to ensure activities are engaging, well-managed and aligned with Fidelity’s goals. Using data insights and market research, you will recommend and implement improvements that reinforce Fidelity’s position as an inclusive and responsible organisation.
This is a hands-on role that combines programme planning, stakeholder management, communication and operational delivery - with the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on colleagues, communities and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate and support the delivery of Fidelity’s DEI and CSR strategies and action plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Take a hands-on approach to managing, delivering and monitoring the impact of core DEI and CSR programmes, initiatives and campaigns.
- Use data insights, stakeholder feedback and external research to recommend and implement enhancements to existing initiatives.
Stakeholders & Business Partnership
- Partner with Business DEI Leads, providing them with data insights, guidance and toolkits to enable them to develop, drive and monitor business DEI Action Plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders acrossGroup Functions (e.g. HR, Resourcing & Talent, Risk, Corporate Communications, Corporate Property Services) to embed DEI considerstaions into core processes, frameworks, policies and materials.
- Manage employee-led groups (DEI Networks, CSR Committees, Wellbeing Champions, Mental Health First Aiders) to help them deliver their purpose, engage employees and operate within governance frameworks.
Governance & Reporting
- Lead and oversee the external DEI and CSR reporting framework, ensuring reports are accurate, well-presented and meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Ensure supporting action plans are developed and tracked to drive progress against key priorities.
- Act as the Secretariat to the DEI Committee, managing agendas, meeting papers and follow-up actions.
Communications & External Partners
- Manage relationships with external DEI and CSR partners, networks and suppliers to ensure fidelity benefits fully from memberhsips, services and insights.
- Manage the annual DEI and CSR comms and engagement programmes, ensuring content is engaging, inclusive, timely and aligned with Fidelity’s brand.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, best practice and regulatory developments, sharing insights with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement..
About You
We are looking for individuals with the following experience and skills:
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical, detailed execution
- Good understanding of DEI, Wellbeing and/or CSR best practice and trends in global organisations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage end-to-end programmes and competing priorities
- Achieving results through good collaboration, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Good communication skills, with experience of creating and delivering high-quality comms and materials (e.g. presentations, updates, internal content) for a range of audiences
- Ability to mobilise, develop and support volunteers
- Ability to analyse and report on a range of quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights that drive action
- Experience of achieving change in a matrixed, global and multi-cultural organisation
- Ability to act as an ambassador for DEI and Fidelity internally and externally
- Experience of managing third party vendors to deliver critical outputs
