Job Summary
This leadership role will be accountable for shaping and implementing an integrated global HR strategy to support the business growth of CRM and Structural Heart portfolios post to the merge of two legal entities. He/She will upgrade and implement HR frameworks to support business expansion strategies, especially in emerging markets by fostering a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive organizational culture.
Core Responsibilities
• Understands the global market dynamics of Medtech and business needs of Structural Heart and CRM, works closely with the President and the Management Executive team to shape and implement tailored global HR and talent management strategies aligned with the Subsidiary’s annual performance targets and long-term growth objectives.
• Collaborates with HR leadership team from the Headquarters and leads a global HR team to implement HR strategies including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee engagement.
• Oversees end-to-end talent management initiatives including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, career development, and retention strategies to engage and retain top commercial and functional talents.
• Forms a sustainable employer brand globally to attract and acquire top-notch talent in commercial and other critical functions for Cardio-Flow Subsidiary to support business growth strategies.
• Develops performance driven culture through shaping effective incentive policies to align local sales plans of each region.
• Collaborates with Cardio-Flow leadership team and HR leadership team from HQ to roll out MicroPort core values, culture elements and any other critical people-related initiatives to the regions.
• Works with heads of different departments on shaping and managing annual plan of HCs and consistently drives improvements in resources efficiency and effectiveness and develops the scalability for each region.
• Leads culture awareness, diversity and inclusion initiatives, collaborating with regional leaders to build and embed a high-performance organizational culture.
• Integrates global HR infrastructures and policies for two entities including but not limited to HR policies, processes, payroll and etc.
• Works with Corporate Legal/Compliance team to address any employee relationship or compliance issues.
• Provides data-driven HR insights for key business decisions.
• Develops and maintains global stakeholder relationships and supports executive communications with the Board and/or external investors.
Qualifications
• Bachelor or above degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in healthcare field.
• Proven record in global HR management, preferred medical device industry with a business size of more than 1,000 employees.
• Validated track record of managing HR for business growth strategies in emerging markets.
• Presence in strong sense of culture awareness, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability in managing matrix relationships and complex network of stakeholders across the globe.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act on complex business data.
• Leadership in strategic thinking, agility and ability in timely adjusting strategies and tactics to fit in external business environment or addressing any business challenges.
• Strong executive presence and high confidence in presenting to Board of Directors or external investors.
• Excellent people leadership in coaching.
• Fluent in English, basic understanding of Chinese preferred but not required.
