Job Title: Associate Experience and Inclusion Coordinator

Job Summary
The Associate Experience and Inclusion Coordinator will help create an inclusive, engaging, and data-driven workplace. This role will support survey operations that drive initiatives that foster inclusion across our footprint. The Associate Experience and Inclusion Coordinator will assist in activating our Inclusion Strategy through Wawa Innovation Networks (WINs), partnering with leaders to deliver impactful programming, strengthen community engagement, and align initiatives with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with WIN leaders to plan and execute internal events, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives aligned to impact areas.
- Provide toolkits, templates, and guidance to support logistics, communications, and programming.
- Coordinate WIN programming calendars, track progress toward goals, and prepare quarterly updates.
- Guide WIN leaders in creating and executing activation plans; monitor progress, measure impact, and prepare reports for leadership review.
- Ensure brand integrity and thoughtful representation during external-facing events.
- Drive accessibility and inclusivity in WIN programming across geographies, with a focus on representative participation for field associates.
- Support efforts to embed inclusion principles throughout the associate experience—from pre-hire to retire—with emphasis on equity, accessibility, and cultural relevance.
- Stay informed on inclusion trends and best practices to guide internal strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for inclusive practices and policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including field leaders, HR partners, and WIN members.
- Facilitate WIN Steering Committee and Inclusion Council meetings by managing agendas, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Support governance processes that ensure accountability and momentum for WIN activation.
- Analyze WIN membership and engagement data to identify trends, measure impact, and inform future programming.
- Monitor engagement and impact metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
- Partner with Communications Leads to amplify WIN programming through enterprise channels such as Viva Engage, newsletters, and internal platforms.
- Promote awareness of WIN initiatives through storytelling that highlights associate and community impact.
- Support WIN-led community initiatives that align with organizational values, including volunteer events and partnerships that strengthen local impact.
- Coordinate with PR and Community Care teams to ensure seamless execution of mission-aligned events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization both orally and in writing
- Handle multiple priorities simultaneously and organize and plan projects in a timely and efficient manner
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Good organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural humility.
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting associate experience, DEI, HR, or program management.
- Good understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and their application in the workplace.
- Experience supporting volunteer-led initiatives or employee resource groups (ERGs/WINs).
- Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or events.
- Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or similar credential preferred
