Salary: £30,438 to £32,292 pro rata
£10,579 to £11,224 actual salary
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Inclusion Coach to join our fantastic ALS team, to provide coaching and additional support to a cohort of learners with a range of support needs on a one-to-one basis and group situations, with and without direct supervision.
You will develop specific strategies to support learner achievement, liaising with teaching and non-teaching staff to encourage learner motivation and engagement in their chosen area of study. You’ll contribute to the development of student’s literacy, communication, numeracy and study skills– as well as helping increase their levels of independence and social awareness in a range of settings.
You Will
- Plan and provide support to students with SEND and High Needs outside of the classroom
- Contribute towards interventions lead by Inclusion Managers or the Student Experience Team
- Use Trauma-Informed practice to manage behaviours of High Needs, EHCP and SEND students
- Develop resources and toolkits to aid students with resilience and personal wellbeing

About You
- You will hold GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- You will hold a Level 3 qualification related to Education or SEND, or be willing to complete within one year of employment
- A PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
