Our Communications and Events Graduate will assist the delivery of employee engagement supporting how we communicate with our people whilst delivering professional, well-executed events aligned to our culture of innovation, precision, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the planning and delivery of our wellbeing strategy which includes internal events and site-wide initiatives
- Support employee network groups with communications and engagement activities that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Liaise with school and university project teams to support outreach events, and early careers initiatives
- Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, supplier liaison, and communications
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance communications and engagement
Experience, Key Skills & Behaviours Required
- 2:1 or above in a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Events, or a related field
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and methodical way
- Interest in engineering, technology, or high-performance environments
- Experience in communications or event support (academic, placement, or extracurricular)
- Familiarity with digital communication platforms or content management systems
- Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
- Awareness of, or interest in, DE&I principles
- Driving licence as travel to external events will be a part of the role
This position would suit someone who is professional and proactive with a strong work ethic, whilst being detail-focused and committed to accuracy and quality. You will be collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across teams and confident engaging with a range of stakeholders, including external education partners with an inclusive mindset, valuing diverse perspectives and experiences.

This role offers an initial fixed term contract until September 2028 with an attractive salary of £33,000 plus benefits.
