About URBOND
URBOND is a registered charity dedicated to building bigger and stronger communities. We deliver programmes that support individuals facing barriers to integration, working alongside local organisations, volunteers and stakeholders to ensure every person feels welcomed, informed and empowered.
Since 2013, our community integration programme has brought together over 30,000 people spanning 75 different nationalities, delivering mental and physical health workshops, education and employment support, social events, women’s empowerment, community food support, and our Restorative Forum — a collaborative space where community leaders, the police, city council and employers tackle issues of inequality together.
We work to a strength-based approach. Skills and knowledge can be developed through training, but natural passion, drive and the ability to connect with and value people are harder to teach. We will value your individual qualities and approach over specific qualifications.
What URBOND offers
• 25 days annual leave per year, including bank holidays with annual increases.
• Workplace pension scheme with employer contributions.
• A genuinely meaningful role at the heart of a growing, values-led charity.
• A supportive, passionate team committed to making a real difference in Portsmouth.
• Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Flexible, community-based working with variety in every week.
• The opportunity to shape your own programmes and community partnerships.
• A strength-based, inclusive working culture that values who you are as much as what you know.
