The University of Brighton has committed through Distinctively Brighton 2035 to becoming the first-choice university for enterprise and equity, delivering transformational impact for our students, staff, and communities.
To realise this aim, the University has established the Office for Zero Inequities as its dedicated institutional delivery function for eliminating inequities affecting students and staff.
The Executive Director will provide strategic and operational oversight for the Office for Zero Inequities and will be accountable for delivering the University’s Zero Inequities Transformation Initiative.
They will also head up institution-wide efforts to eliminate differential outcomes, improve staff and student experience, embed equity into institutional design and decision-making, and establish the University of Brighton as a national and international exemplar in institutional equity transformation.
The role requires an exceptional person, with a track record of delivering large-scale organisational change, influencing senior stakeholders, building partnerships, and translating evidence and insight into measurable institutional impact.
