Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum

Make a difference where it matters most.
As an Employee Relations Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting managers and staff across NHS Western Isles. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations matters, helping to foster a fair, supportive, and respectful working environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide professional advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
- Support managers with casework including attendance, conduct, and performance
- Contribute to resolving complex employee relations issues
- Promote best practice and organisational values
- Support a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience handling employee relations casework
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A proactive, compassionate, and solution-focused approach
- Postgraduate CIPD qualification
