The role will be focused on supporting the administration of the HR team. You will need to have strong communication skills and high levels of accuracy and organisation. The HR department is a small team who pride themselves on providing exemplary service to the business and you will need to share the same work ethic and passion for providing excellent service to our employees
Key responsibilities include:
- Input/acknowledge new starter information on HR Database (SDworx & REX), working closely with Payroll team
- To support and action requests sent to the HR Helpdesk inbox within our agreed SLA
- Maintaining our centralised records for BAME reporting
- Administer employee induction plans
- Ensure new starter personnel file are complete within the probationary period (references, signed contract, eligibility to work)
- Check employee eligibility to work documents
- Process contracts and contract changes on HR system
- Process leavers and confirm resignation letter for Head office and Managers
- Reference checking our new team members
- Ensure action is taken to prevent overpayment
- Supporting with issuing staff uniform vouchers and probation pass letters and long service letters
- Allocate vouchers and staff discount on company system (REX)
- Run daily/weekly reports on HR system
- Support note taking in meetings
- Support wider HR and Recruitment team when requires
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills/customer service manner
- Proven admin and organisation skills
- High levels of accuracy
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative and identify areas for improvement
- Strong work ethic and passion to work in HR
- Confidentiality is key
