Role Overview

Delivering expert, comprehensive, and business-oriented Employee Relations (ER) guidance to key stakeholders, you will support and coach managers, both onshore and in the Fleet, ensuring solutions balance business risk.

You’ll be a trusted ER professional, managing your own caseload and providing timely advice.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

Pro-actively manage caseload to ensure that all queries and activities are responded to in line with agreed Service Level Agreements wherever possible
Support the development of stakeholders and managers to handle ER problems whilst ensuring that Line Managers take ownership of issues
Foster positive working relationships with employees, minimising problems and issues and fostering a positive climate for ER
Update case log/case management system to record all case progress and advice given in a timely manner

This role is classified as CUK10 and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

About you: the ideal candidate

You are more than just your CV. You're someone who brings:

Minimum level 5 CIPD or equivalent qualification or actively working towards
Some prior ER experience including with the ability to apply current legal principles and associated risk assessment
Experience of providing diverse advice to managers on ER policy and people management issues
Good knowledge and practical application of UK employment legislation
