PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £60,000-£80,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

We will be looking to run a two stage interview process for this role with interviews starting from Friday 28th November.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In this new role you will support the rollout of BBC-wide strategies for leadership, performance, talent and diversity, inclusion & belonging (DIB) within the BBC’s Corporate Functions. As Business Partner, you’ll ensure group-led frameworks are embedded into divisional practices and aligned with local needs, whilst responding to the specific and nuanced divisional needs of each function.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Support the rollout and embedding of BBC leadership, performance, talent, and diversity, inclusion and belonging frameworks across the corporate functions.
- Adapt and localise group-led initiatives to reflect divisional needs, workforce demographics, and operational context.
- Collaborate with divisional HR colleagues and business managers to coordinate delivery of careers, leadership and talent programmes, contributing to the overall people plan for Corporate Functions.
- Design and deliver interventions that are specific to meet strategic people goals.
- Assist in identifying talent gaps and support the implementation of succession planning, career and development interventions.
- Contribute to the delivery of diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, ensuring alignment with BBC-wide goals and local relevance.
- Use workforce data and insight to support planning, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate divisional engagement with group-led campaigns, learning offers, and programmes.
- Support the communication and promotion of leadership and inclusion initiatives across the corporate functions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with divisional stakeholders and act as a key point of contact for implementation queries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and contribute to inclusive and fair people practices
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in HR, talent, learning, or inclusion roles within a large or complex organisation.
- Experience partnering and influencing at senior levels; ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple high-profile priorities and achieving impactful measures of success.
- Good understanding of performance management, leadership development, talent management, and diversity, inclusion and belonging, with experience of delivering projects across these disciplines.
- Adept in using data to support planning and reporting and ability to construct data-informed discussions and strategies.
- Clear and confident communicator with good facilitation and presentation skills.
