Expression of Interest – Secondment / Interim Opportunity
An opportunity is available for an internal secondment/interim arrangement to undertake the role of
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Advisor within HR until 31 July.
Role
Reporting to the Associate Director for EDI, the role will support delivery of the University’s EDI activity at an operational level, including:
- Supporting Faculty/Service EDI Committees and Staff Networks
- Developing EDI communications, campaigns and events
- Managing EDI webpages
- Delivering induction and supporting training
- Producing and analysing diversity metrics (e.g. Athena SWAN, Race Equality Charter)
- Monitoring the incident reporting tool and escalating areas of potential risk or concern until we move to a new central ‘Report and Support system in May.
- Acting as a key point of contact for EDI advice and guidance
This is an excellent development opportunity for colleagues with experience in equality, diversity and inclusion, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to driving positive change.
