Coordinator Content & Creative
Working for the Director, Content and Creator this role will be focused on delivering global creator and social content marketing campaigns. The Coordinator will be principally responsible for the delivering global creator marketing campaigns and the production of content for the WMG’s global owned and operated social media networks. This role requires hands-on creator marketing experience, an understanding of best practices in social media content creation and channel management, and strong organisational/project management skills. As well as delivering global social and creator marketing services, the Coordinator will also
be able to support WMG marketing teams around the world in adopting new technologies, platforms and systems that enable scaled and efficient delivery of their own campaigns. This includes best practice consultation, budget management support and championing WMG’s approach to social content/creator marketing among internal teams.
Primary Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery
- Drive the development and end to end delivery of creator marketing campaigns that have global reach for some of Warner Music Group’s highest profile artists
- Identify and communicate the different objectives, data insights and strategic
principles that inform global creator marketing
- Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights to optimize strategies.
- Contribute to content ideation, creation and rollout working closely with Repertoire
Owners, the Global Marketing Team and other marketing services departments as required.
- Deploy strong understanding of social media content production that adheres to platform-specific requirements and best practices, keeping up-to-date on individual platforms nuances, algorithm changes and updates.
- Cultivate and maintain a network of freelance social media content and creator agencies from briefing, project delivery and quality assurance
Owned & Operated Social Channel Networks
- Manage and maintain WMG’s Global Marketing social media channels ensuring they are fast growing and drive engagement
- Actively partner with labels, GPS, and regional marketing teams to maximise the value of the earned media generated by O&Os
- Remain curious about and engaged with online fandom communities to identify new opportunities for O&O channels
Team & Cross Functional Collaboration
- Actively collaborate with the NYC based Coordinator Content and Creator to ensure cohesive department output
- Collaborate with regional and domestic marketing teams to understand cultural nuances and localisation requirements across the social and creator landscape
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content consistency and support broader marketing initiatives.
- Regularly communicate with label creator and marketing functions to share best practices and collaborate on campaigns.
- Support on the rollout and adoption of new social content and creator marketing technology and resources across the business globally
Experience Level
- 3 years in label marketing, social media or paid media content production
- Ability to create workflows, and work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience using workflow management tools like Airtable
- Proficiency with basic content creation tools (Canva, CapCut or similar)
- Proficiency with basic Google Suite software (Sheets, Docs, Slides or similar)
- A basic understanding of AI tools for content generation, workflow optimisation and editing
About You
- A passionate music fan with a strong knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Snapchat) and their respective features and content requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- An understanding of the strategies, principles and project management skills required to deliver strong creator marketing campaigns, including usage of workflow tools like Airtable
- Proven experience in social media channel/account management, content creation, workflow and content performance across social media platforms.
- Excellent understanding of current social media trends, analytics, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of global fan engagement dynamics and experience localizing strategies while maintaining a unified global vision
