How You’ll Play Your Part
We’re looking for an experienced, innovative leader with outstanding media relations expertise and a track record of creating engaging stories and elevating major brands. Someone who brings enthusiasm, clarity, positive energy and commitment to every challenge.
In this role, you’ll shape our story, create and drive bold corporate and product communications, and bring our brand to life through exceptional events and activities, including Mercedes-Benz World.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end‑to‑end communications strategy to maximise brand impact: spanning corporate, product, lifestyle and Mercedes-Benz World.
- At the same you will be responsible for all aspects of crisis communications and issues management, protecting the reputation of our brand.
- Lead the corporate and product event strategy, working seamlessly with Marketing, Sales and Mercedes-Benz World to deliver a unified, “one team” approach.
- Work closely with global HQ and HQ COM to ensure UK events and communications are fully aligned with international programmes, global priorities and key corporate messaging.
- Work closely with the General Manager, Mercedes-Benz World, to ensure all activities there are fully aligned with wider communication and marketing strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with the CEO, Digital & Comms Director and senior leaders, acting as the go‑to authority on PR, communications and media matters.

What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership experience and skills, developed across a range of roles or brands.
- Exceptional media relations expertise, ideally with 5+ years leading communications for a major brand.
- Proven crisis communications leadership, with the ability to respond decisively under pressure.
- Deep understanding of the UK media landscape and how to navigate it effectively.
- Strong strategic judgment, with a proven record of delivering high‑impact media and brand communications plans.
- Knowledge and passion for how new technology, particularly AI, will impact the communications landscape. Extensive event management experience, including agency leadership and coordination.
- Articulate, polished communicator able to influence senior leaders, key stakeholders and VIPs with confidence.
