Project Overview:
The Fashion Awards Project Manager will work cross functionally, across multiple
stakeholders, internal and external departments ensuring the project is set up and
delivered on time and to an excellent standard.
This remit ensures structured critical paths, stage gates, reporting cadence, meeting
cadence and risk reporting, ensuring escalation as needed.
The ultimate objective is to ensure that The Fashion Awards is delivered on time to the
standard required at every stage.
This is a temporary freelance role (May 2026 to December 2026). BFC Office is based at: Soho Works, 180 Strand, Temple, London, WC2R 1EA
Objectives:
- Ensure project stays on track, delivery is on time and to agreed quality and
standards
- Project planning and alignment across departments
- Organisation of meetings including agendas, minutes, actions
- Critical path and project plan management (adopt Monday.com or equivalent
with support)
- Ensure milestones / stage gates are met and updated as required
- Align cross-functional teams around defined outcomes
SOW:
Project Controls
- Develop master project plan with critical path and key milestones / stage gates
- Implement a change management process
- Lead and organise regular meetings (weekly)
- Weekly update to IB on status and traffic light system
- Regular reporting
- Maintain and update risk register (alongside COO)
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders and ensure co ordination
- Establish cadence for 1:1 updates with CEO, CMO and COO as required
- Ensure co-ordination with external stakeholders alongside work stream leads to
align with RACI
Budget Management:
- Invoice workflow support as required
- Assist in budget tracking alongside work stream leads
