We are seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join on a fixed term basis. This is a "doing" role for someone who feels passionately about mental health and wants to be involved in facilitating change to make services better for the populations of Oxfordshire and BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire. The postholder will be primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Programme Managers to manage large scale complex change initiatives in the OBSW Mental Health Directorate.
The main duties of this job will be around supporting the OBSW Mental Health Senior Programme Managers in all aspects of large programme and change work, undertaking delegated programme and service change activities, often working on parallel and complex workstreams. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the programmes and projects keep a steady pace.
This Will Involve
- Maintaining and holding action logs to ensure that programme tasks are completed in an appropriate timeframe, escalating issues early to ensure resolution
- Working with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and involvement
- Working alongside the programme managers to create reporting and communications to required boards, groups, interested parties.
- Supporting with compilation of plans, risk and issue logs, and be actively involved in understanding this documentation and it's relevance to the programmes
- Being actively involved with the senior programme managers in planning and co-ordinating activities relating to programmes
