Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and people focused administrator to join our People Operations team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the employee experience; supporting every stage of the employee life cycle, keeping our systems and records running smoothly, and being the first point of contact for people related queries.
You’ll also get involved in ad-hoc People projects, giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and help shape how we work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the Employee Life Cycle
You’ll play a key role in making every stage of the employee journey feel smooth, consistent, and well supported. From the moment someone accepts an offer to their final day with us, you’ll help ensure processes run efficiently, documentation is accurate, and every employee feels properly guided. You’ll be part of the steady operational heartbeat that keeps everything running behind the scenes. Below are some of the tasks that you can expect to do within this role.
Onboarding
- Create contracts and onboarding documentation
- Carry out pre-employment checks
- Input new starter information into our HR systems
Employee Compliance
- Manage background check renewals
- Maintain accurate right to work records
Benefit Administration
- Act as a point of contact for employee benefit queries
- Maintain accurate benefit records
- Support administration of employee benefits (enrolment, changes & leavers)
Contractual Changes
- Prepare and issue documentation for employment changes
- Keep HR systems up to date with accurate employee data
First Line Support
- Whilst overseeing the People Team inbox, be a go to contact for managers and employees with day-to-day people queries
- Provide clear, helpful information and guidance on people processes and escalate as necessary
Offboarding
- Prepare offboarding documents
- Support managers and leavers to ensure a smooth, positive exit experience
- Update systems and records accordingly
Supporting the People Operations Team
Beyond day-to-day lifecycle tasks, you’ll also part of how the People Team operates and evolves. You’ll provide hands on support across a variety of initiatives, help keep our processes running smoothly, and contribute to projects that improve the employee experience. This is a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and play a real part in shaping how our People function grows.
- Assist with ad hoc people projects across the team
- Support process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to streamline workflows
- Provide comprehensive PO administration for the People Team
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and validating employee documentation and data
- Collaborate with the wider people team to deliver high quality, consistent People operations
What You’ll Bring
- Previous HR/people administration or strong office administration experience
- Confident IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using a HRIS is desirable
- Understanding of AI tools to support day to day tasks
- Excellent organisational skills where you’re able to juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of details
- A high level of professionalism, especially when handling confidential information
- A curious, improvement minded attitude where you like understanding how things work and identifying better ways of doing them
- A proactive approach to problem solving and drive tasks forward independently
- Adapt and navigate through ambiguity and stay focused whilst dealing with challenges or changing demands
- A collaborative, friendly approach and enjoyment of working with people across different teams
