We have more than 200,000 members across England and Wales, around 100 Law Society Council members and 300 elected and appointed members. The Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Committee’s role in the Law Society
EDI&WC advises the Board, its committees and other parts of the Law Society on EDI and wellbeing matters that affect our members and the profession. The committee helps review progress against the Law Society’s member facing EDI and wellbeing strategic goals and provides insight on emerging issues, good practice and innovation from within and beyond the legal sector.
We are seeking two new independent, non-solicitor members who can bring fresh perspectives, specialist expertise and practical experience from a range of professional backgrounds. EDI&WC reports to the Law Society’s Board and includes representatives from the diversity and inclusion network communities; for further information, please visit: Your communities | The Law Society.
