We are pleased to share that we are recruiting for two Workday Training and Communications Specialists, one supporting HR and one supporting Finance, to join our Workday Change Management workstream.
This role will focus on HR and is offered on a fixed term contract until March 2027 and based at Wembley Stadium for two days per week.
You will design, develop and deliver The Football Association's Workday Training and Learning Strategy, Approach and Plan. You will support all impacted stakeholder groups through the transition to Workday and work closely with the Change Management Lead on the implementation of the new system. This includes training needs analysis, functional user training, end user support materials and a range of learning resources.
You will also contribute to the creation of communication and engagement materials that support colleagues throughout their training and learning journey.
What you will be doing:
Training Delivery
- Develop and deliver role-based training materials including face to face and virtual instructor-led sessions, e-learning content and job aids and similar collateral.
- Coordinate training schedules and logistics for all impacted teams.
- Support post go-live learning through refresher sessions and knowledge resources.
Communications and Engagement
- Help create clear and engaging communications aligned with project and change milestones.
- Support the development of FAQs, intranet content, manager toolkits and other documentation.
- Help manage feedback channels and engagement activity to address concerns and build buy-in.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Change Management Lead, HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement and IT teams to ensure consistent messaging and training.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy of all content.
Measurement
- Track training attendance, completion rates and learner feedback.
- Monitor the effectiveness of communications and recommend improvements.
Skills and experience you will bring:
- Previous experience delivering Workday training in a fast-paced project environment is essential.
- Experience in training design and face to face and virtual delivery for Workday implementations within HR.
- Confident presenting at all levels, both in person and via Microsoft Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of Workday HCM is essential, with understanding of FINS being an advantage.
- Proficiency in digital tools for training and communication including Microsoft Office, learning management systems and Synthesia or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create clear and engaging training and written content.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
Knowledge
- Understanding of training and learning methodologies.
- Good understanding of Workday HR processes and associated data.

Currently, we are working within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model, and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
