About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior People Partner to join Moonpig on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting our Cards division. Based in Manchester or London with hybrid working (2–3 days in the office), this role is a brilliant opportunity to grow your HR career in a fast-paced, people-first business.
As a Junior People Partner, you’ll support the Head of People Partnering & Engagement and work closely with leaders across the business to shape and deliver People Plans aligned to commercial goals. You’ll partner with People Operations and Centres of Excellence to ensure our processes are efficient, consistent and proactive — helping managers take ownership of their teams while providing the right HR support at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, supporting the delivery of aligned and impactful People Plans
- Help drive a positive, high-performance culture to increase engagement across supported teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing balanced, empathetic and commercially sound people advice, including end-to-end ER support
- Support the delivery of cyclical People activity and projects, including reporting, trend analysis and proactive planning
- Contribute to engagement planning through insights, ideas and data-led recommendations
- Advise on compensation and benefits topics such as salary adjustments and promotions
- Review exit interview data and support stakeholders with recommendations to ensure meaningful action
- Work closely with the Group Head of People Operations and People Operations Manager to ensure smooth and consistent cyclical activity across functions
- Share relevant insights from the HR dashboard with stakeholders, ensuring data is accurate, valuable and fit for purpose
- Partner with the L&D & Talent Lead to build and implement solutions such as leadership development, resilience building and unconscious bias initiatives
- Collaborate with Internal Communications to ensure clear and effective updates to the workforce
- Provide guidance to the HR Advisory team and support on ER cases where required
- Champion a positive and collaborative culture within the wider People Team
About You
- Significant experience in HR Advisory roles, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience analysing data and using insights to inform decisions
- Commercial mindset, with the ability to align people strategies to business goals
- Professional and credible approach in stakeholder interactions
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong collaboration skills across People Partnering, People Operations and wider teams
- Highly organised with effective time management and attention to detail
- Accountable and results-oriented, with a drive to deliver measurable outcomes
- Ethical and values-led approach to decision-making
- Stakeholder-focused with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Analytical thinker, able to interpret trends and inform strategic planning
- Growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn and develop
