We are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead our seven Centres to the next level of performance and customer excellence. In this pivotal role, you will drive the achievement of key business objectives across Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Finance and Customer Satisfaction, while championing a culture that places the customer at the heart of everything we do. You will inspire and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring a positive, development-focused environment that supports retention and succession. With a strong emphasis on governance and compliance, you will ensure rigorous, ethical and transparent operations, embedding the right culture and standards of conduct across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overarching strategic leadership to deliver the Porsche Retail Group (PRG) vision, long‑term strategy and commercial direction
- Own and drive enterprise‑wide performance, ensuring all Centres operate to agreed financial, operational and customer metrics
- Champion a premium customer experience, ensuring sustained excellence in customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Shape, influence and embed a high‑performance culture, promoting collaboration, accountability and an unwavering focus on operational excellence
- Identify and execute strategic growth and transformation opportunities, maximising commercial performance across all Centres and business units
- Ensure consistency in operational standards, proactively addressing performance variation and driving continuous improvement
- Lead organisational efficiency, optimising processes, systems and cost structures to enable sustainable, scalable growth
- Represent PRG at executive level, partnering closely with Porsche Cars Great Britain and wider stakeholders to shape and elevate the UK retail network strategy
- Develop and mentor senior leaders, particularly Centre Principals
- Provide executive governance and stewardship, ensuring functional strategies and decision‑making align with regulatory obligations and business objectives
- Serve as Senior Manager Function (SMF) accountable officer, ensuring compliance with FCA, CASS and SMCR frameworks across the organisation
- Maintain rigorous annual assessments of fitness and propriety for relevant senior stakeholders, ensuring competence, integrity and financial soundness
- Oversee the firm's compliance and certification frameworks, ensuring robust governance, reporting and regulatory engagement
- Lead the organisation's financial crime risk strategy, ensuring policies, controls and oversight frameworks meet regulatory and ethical expectations
- Fulfil statutory responsibilities as a Company Director in line with the Companies Act 2006, ensuring sound judgement, independence and duty‑of‑care
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record leading a substantial division within a recognised, high‑quality retail group
- Extensive senior leadership experience, with accountability for multi‑site or multi‑function operations
- Experience working with a luxury or prestige brand, with a deep understanding of premium customer expectations
- OEM experience or strong understanding of OEM structures, processes and strategic priorities
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent commercial performance against KPIs, budgets and long‑term targets
- Exceptional leadership capability, able to inspire, challenge and motivate teams at all levels
- Advanced financial and commercial acumen, with strong numeracy and analytical skills.

- Strong strategic planning capability, with experience balancing long‑term vision and short‑term operational delivery
- Highly effective stakeholder management, including Board-level engagement and international partner relationships
- Experience driving cultural transformation and continuous improvement across large, complex organisations
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop senior leaders, building high-performing teams and succession pipelines
- Resilient, adaptable leadership style, comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on operational levels
