LOCATION: Stamford Bridge with regular travel to Cobham

The Opportunity
In this strategic role, you will lead the development and delivery of the Club’s mental health and wellbeing strategy, working closely with HR, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and senior leaders to embed a consistent, whole-club approach. You will oversee proactive wellbeing support, provide expert guidance to leaders, and shape a club-wide learning framework that strengthens wellbeing awareness and psychologically safe leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the Club’s mental health and wellbeing strategy in partnership with HR, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and senior leaders.
- Oversee proactive wellbeing support to ensure initiatives align with organisational priorities and deliver measurable impact.
- Act as a strategic adviser to senior leaders, providing expert coaching on wellbeing best practice and psychologically safe leadership.
- Shape and manage a club-wide wellbeing learning framework, embedding wellbeing into leadership development and organisational culture.
- Evaluate wellbeing activity and training, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead the governance and ongoing development of the Mental Health First Aider programme, ensuring high standards of training, support and quality assurance.

- Proven experience of designing and embedding strategy within a complex organisation.
- Strong professional knowledge of mental health, wellbeing and psychologically safe workplaces.
- Track record in service development, programme leadership and delivering change.
- Experience of working with complex or high-risk wellbeing needs.
- Strategic, forward-thinking and innovative.
- High standards of confidentiality, professionalism and information governance.
- Experience of stakeholder engagement, partnership working and co-production.
- Strong written, digital and reporting capability.
