As part of The Future Talent Programme, we’re looking for 8 runners and trainees to play a critical role in ensuring that studio users have a first-class production experience whilst working onsite.
The Future Talent Programme is a 12-month paid placement (fixed term contract) based at Sky Studios Elstree. Our aim is that the programme will boost your prospects, develop your contact base and give you a great starting knowledge of the industry that will help kick start your career in Film and TV. Our Talent Manager will support you through the programme with goal setting and development opportunities throughout the year.

As part of your application to the Programme, you’ll have an opportunity to state your preference for the following 3 roles and as we get to know you through your journey, we’ll assess your skills and experience aligned to each of them to make sure the successful candidates are placed into the roles most suited to them.
Once you have applied you will be asked to complete a digital skills assessment through the SOVA platform shortly afterwards, this includes a video response to a question.
If you are successful through these rounds, you will be invited to one of the following assessment centres dates: Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th, Tuesday 23rd or Wednesday 24th June.
What You’ll Do
As a
Studio Runner, you’ll provide daily support to studio teams, set up and clear client areas, offer administrative support, and perform production runner services. This role requires physical activity, including moving furniture and equipment.
The
Lead Runner role involves attending operational and production meetings, coordinating client areas, tracking client activity and billing preparing various reports and supporting the Studio Runners in their daily tasks. This role includes both desk-based and on-site activities.
As an
Operations/Client Services Trainee, you'll assist in delivering excellent client experiences by providing administrative and scheduling support, updating client information, tracking activity and billing, and preparing reports and notifications. This position is mainly desk-based, focusing on administrative tasks.

Please note, due to the nature of these roles and Health & Safety regulations relating to lone working / young workers, these placements are only available to candidates who are 18 and over.

Sky Studios Elstree is the UK's newest, state-of-the-art film and TV studio. With 12 sound stages, the studio will enable £3bn of production investment over the first five years of operation.
