London Fire Brigade (LFB) is London’s fire and rescue service – one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world. We are here to make London a safer city. Employing over 5000 people across our operational team (our firefighters), control (our call handlers who answer 999 calls), fire safety and our non-operational team (our team who work behind the scenes to support our front-line services, which includes Fleet, IT, HR, Finance, Procurement, Communications team and many more).
An opportunity has arisen within the people directorate, for the role of a Culture, Belonging and Inclusion Manager to coordinate the team in charge of DEI engagement and evaluation interventions across LFB.
The ideal person will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
We are looking for an experienced, adaptable, proactive, innovative and detail-oriented professional to lead and coordinate the team in charge of delivery of multiple culture interventions across LFB, working collaboratively as part of the wider DEI function.
The role requires a dedicated and organised individual, with an eye for detail and strong programme and stakeholder management capability.
We require experience of managing a team responsible for designing, facilitating or delivering organisational interventions.
Experience within a DEI context is desirable but not essential.
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office applications, including Word, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, email, and internet browsing is essential.
Assessment for this role is due to take place in late August.
