We are seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to support our Bottega Veneta population across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Sweden. This role will report directly to the HR Manager and will play a key part in partnering with our retail and corporate teams, supporting day to day HR activities, and contributing to people initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational excellence across the region.

Your opportunity
You will form an integral part of the People & Culture function, partnering closely with HR and Retail Management to support teams across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Sweden. You will contribute to delivering a consistent and high‑quality HR service, supporting day‑to‑day people operations while helping to drive engagement, performance, and employee experience. Working alongside the HR Manager, you will help ensure that HR initiatives are executed effectively, aligned with brand values, and responsive to the needs of our retail and corporate teams.
How you will contribute
Payroll & Reward
- Ownership of multi-country payroll (UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden) and commission process (Varicent)
- Validation of monthly payroll inputs, approvals, reconciliations, and audits
- Main contact for payroll providers and employee payroll queries
Recruitment & Onboarding
- End-to-end recruitment management for retail
- Partnering with managers on role scoping and hiring strategy
- Candidate sourcing, interviews, offers, and pre-boarding processes
HR Operations & Systems
- Management of employee lifecycle processes and HR documentation
- Workday system ownership, reporting, and data accuracy
- Policy guidance and onboarding programme delivery
- Long-term absence management
Employee Relations
- First-line ER support and case administration
- Investigation support, meeting attendance, and ER documentation
- Performance and wellbeing process support
- Support talent and performance reviews
- Workforce planning and HR projects
- Stakeholder partnering to improve engagement and retention
Who you are
- 3/4+ years’ experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Recruitment, or HR Generalist roles
- Strong exposure to multi-country payroll and employee lifecycle management
- Experience working with HR systems (Workday strongly preferred) & Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of employment practices and ER processes
- Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with managers
- Strong communication skills
