Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 2 breweries, 3 soft drink sites and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the role:
Are you a business partner focused on using your HR insight to deliver real commercial results? We are hiring a field-based People & Culture Business Partner to partner with our Supply Chain function. This is a key hire for our People & Culture team, you will need to understand how Carlsberg Britvic creates value for the consumer, manages risk and generates revenue so that you can translate this into your people plan and create tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement effective people focused activities that support the strategic growth and objectives of Carlsberg Britvic.
- Partner key stakeholders to help build organisational and people capability through shaping and implementing an effective People Plan maintaining alignment to the People & Culture agenda.
- Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organisation effectiveness and employee engagement, delivering a colleague centric people experience.
- Develop and run efficient and compliant people processes that deliver a high level of service, such as performance calibration, succession planning, talent management, compensation cycle.
- Act as a trusted partner by providing expertise, education, coaching to line managers on people matters such as compensation, performance feedback, career plans, recruitment etc.
- Provide meaningful data and insights through the analysis and interpretation various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to business area.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Previous experience partnering a Manufacturing, Production, logistics or Supply Chain function is essential.
- Ability to think strategically to align HR goals with business objectives. Understanding the business ‘s vision, mission, and goals, analysing data to identify trends and opportunities, and developing strategies to support business growth.
- Skilled leadership and collaboration skills to lead and influence others. Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other departments to meet shared goals
- Skilled in managing change, including organisational restructuring, process improvement, and culture change. Ability to assess the impact of change, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and develop strategies to manage resistance and mitigate risks.
- Skilled in managing talent, including recruitment, development, and retention. Knowledge of talent management best practices, the ability to develop and implement talent strategies, and a thorough understanding of the business's talent needs.
- Solid business acumen to grasp the organization’s financial and operational goals and align HR initiatives accordingly. Understanding the financial metrics, market trends, and competitive landscape that affect the business.
- Robust analytical abilities to examine HR data and uncover trends and opportunities. Ability to use data analytics tools, interpret data accurately, and make data-driven recommendations.
