Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Band 5, ER Advisor in the Employee Relations team. The postholder will provide professional ER advice and guidance to managers and lead on complex cases for their respective division, support on training as well as partner with the HR Business Partners to provide ER support. Appropriate training and support will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To support mangers with the handling of ER cases under the informal stages, or stage 1 and 2 of the formal stages of the Disciplinary, Performance and Managing Sickness Procedures. To provide ER support for managers in the handling of grievances under stage 1 and 2 of the procedure. The ER Adviser will assist with investigations, advise on the preparation of management cases and attend formal hearings to support managers presenting cases or hearing short term sickness cases. The postholder will provide advice on the application of People Management policies and procedures, and terms and conditions of employment.To promote understanding and action to support national and local Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, equality objectives, and behaviour which reflects the Trust values.
