Shape the inclusion agenda across EMEA in a role that blends strategy with real impact, influencing culture, talent and leadership across a global organisation. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change, partnering with senior stakeholders to build an inclusive environment where people can thrive.
This is a 12-months fixed-term contract opportunity.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
In this strategic leadership role, you drive the EMEA inclusion strategy, translating priorities into practical initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and business outcomes across a diverse region. Working closely with senior leaders, executive committees and People and Culture partners, you provide trusted advice on inclusion, workforce insights and emerging risks while shaping regional action plans informed by employee feedback and data. Ownership of regulatory reporting and governance is central, ensuring alignment with evolving requirements such as pay reporting, board disclosures and broader regulatory expectations, while supporting leadership decision-making through clear insights and recommendations.
Alongside this, you embed inclusive practices across talent processes, influencing recruitment, succession planning and workforce reviews to improve equitable outcomes. You also support/drive learning and capability initiatives that build inclusive leadership behaviours, strengthen manager confidence and advance accessibility and neurodiversity priorities. Collaboration sits at the heart of the role, with oversight of employee networks, partnerships with external organisations and active engagement with regional and global stakeholders to continually evolve inclusion strategy. Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Development and EMEA Head of People and Culture, you will lead a small regional team while influencing a wide range of senior stakeholders across the business.
What You Offer
- Proven experience leading inclusion, culture or diversity initiatives within a complex and ideally regulated organisation
- Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks, including pay reporting, governance and compliance requirements
- Ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes using data, workforce insights and external benchmarking
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Experience designing and embedding inclusion into leadership capability initiatives to drive cultural change
