Role: Internal Communications Business Partner (3 month FTC - with possibility for extension)
Location: Hybrid, based from one of our offices in Derby, Manchester, Warrington or London
Salary: we anticipate paying a salary in the £48,000 – £63,000 range

Our Internal Communications team drives colleague engagement and transparency across the organisation, ensuring our people stay informed, connected, and aligned to our mission. Working at pace, we champion modern digital communications and storytelling that brings our strategy, culture and achievements to life.
We’re now looking for an Internal Communications Business Partner to join us on a fixed‑term basis, partnering closely with our Head of Internal Communications. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where you'll help maintain critical communication rhythms, shape key announcements, and keep our colleagues informed through high‑quality content and channels.
We’ll need you to:
- Lead our weekly communication rhythm — including newsletters, colleague updates and core campaigns.
- Manage and update our SharePoint-based intranet, ensuring content is timely and engaging.
- Support delivery of management announcements and selected strategic internal comms projects.
- Bring creative thinking and visual content ideas to enhance how we tell our story.

This is a pivotal and visible role in our organisation, so you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, strong project‑management skills, and first‑class written communication ability — along with the confidence to operate autonomously from day one.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in internal communications (not marketing or external comms).
- Experience managing digital channels, ideally SharePoint intranet and MS Teams; video editing skills (e.g., Clipchamp) are a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, delivering high‑quality communications at speed.
- Strong writing, editing and content‑creation skills with exceptional attention to detail.

We anticipate a salary of £48,000 - £63,000 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring.
