Team Overview
We are looking for an experienced, communications professional to join our EMEA comms team, part of the global Brand & Comms team. As a strong comms generalist with a background in consumer, B2B and corporate PR, you will help us tell the story of TikTok’s cultural, economic, and societal impact across the region. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate a complex, fast-paced global organisation while delivering creative storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences across the region, from creators to teens to parents and advertisers. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Support and execute comprehensive EMEA communication strategies with clear, measurable KPIs that align with global business and Global Brand & Comms objectives.
- Narrative Development: Build and maintain external narratives that highlight TikTok’s value to users, creators, clients, merchants and our contribution to the economy, culture and society.
- Integrated Storytelling: Align comms initiatives with marketing campaigns to create outsized impact;
- Regional Campaigns: Work in partnership with local markets and regional and global comms partners to deliver high impact, positive storytelling and integrated campaigns across consumer, B2B and corporate audiences, identifying strong hooks, data and third-party voices.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Comms, Marketing, Policy, Sales, Legal and Product teams to ensure messaging consistency and reputational integrity.
- Regional Support and Co-ordination: Partner closely with market-level comms teams
- Insights & Innovation: Track and analyse EMEA trends and sentiment; implement smart tools (including AI) to optimise the communications function.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Multi-market Expertise: Proven track record in a regional communications role working with diverse languages, cultures, and regulatory environments.
- Versatile Skill Set: Demonstrated success across consumer, B2B, and corporate comms work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong news sense
- Experience devising and delivering creative and impactful integrated campaigns
- Media Network: An established network of journalist contacts
- Execution Excellence: Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on tactical execution and good attention to detail.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities and markets simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in social media, gaming, entertainment or technology platforms or digital ecosystems.
- Familiarity with policy, regulatory or trust and safety topics.
- Experience working with agencies and external partners.
